ASF Atamodu Zulu has enlightened the 2024 Batch B Stream II corps members on fire safety at Magaji Dan Yamusa NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Keffi.
Zulu stated the importance of fire education to the members of the public. He also mentioned how fire spreads through oxygen and other liquid chemicals, he further enlightened the corps members on the different types of fire extinguishers which are: Foam compound fire extinguisher, DCP and CO2, which he mentioned does not contain harmful chemical substance.
Lastly, he urged the corps members to be cautious in other to prevent fire outbreaks in their homes. However, in the event of a fire outbreak, he advised them to remain calm and apply the extinguishing methods he mentioned.
Different techniques of extinguishing fire were demonstrated to the corps members during a practical session, in which corps members participated actively.
