2024 B-2: NYSC Hosts welcome party for corps members

In a vibrant display of excitement, the NYSC Ogun State Orientation Camp organized a memorable welcome party for the 2024 Batch B Stream Two Corps Members. The event, which took place at the parade ground, was sponsored by DUFIL Nigeria Limited, the makers of Minimie Noodles.

The Ogun State Coordinator, Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu warmly welcomed the new Corps Members, expressing that the event was designed to help them unwind after the stress of their journey to camp and the rigors of the registration process. She encouraged the Corps Members to enjoy the party responsibly, before officially opening the dance floor by joining them in a lively dance.

The evening was filled with entertainment, including a dance competition among the ten platoons, song performances, and comedy skits by the Corps Members. The dance competition was the highlight of the night, with Platoon 4’s Oladele Folasade Aladeloye (OG/24B/4844) emerging as the winner, taking home a 34-inch LG TV and a cash prize of ₦20,000.

Amazoiro Kingsley of Platoon One (OG/24B/5121) secured the second position and won a tabletop gas cooker, while Akinloye Joel (LA/24B/6567) came in third, receiving a standing fan. Ndubuisi Dunnyale (OG/24B/4233) finished in fourth place and was awarded a cash prize of ₦10,000.
