2024 B-2: Sporting activities kicks off in NYSC Imo orientation camp

 

 

Players on the field of play for the 2024 Batch B Stream ll orientation course Sporting activities have been called to observe and obey the rules of the games.

The NYSC Imo State Coordinator Mrs Rachel Idaewor gave the advice at the kick off of Sporting activities at Eziama Obaire Camp.

She said that Sports unites individuals and is a veritable platform for the discovery of talents among Corps Members who stand the chance to represent the State in the forthcoming Director General’s Sports Competition. As well as the Nation at International sports events.

The Camp Director Mrs Faustina Ilorah who represented the Coordinator, encouraged the Corps Members to actively participate in both the outdoor and indoors games made available by the Management.

The Head Sports, Mrs Patrica Ezeh earlier in her remark, tasked the Corps Members to engage in healthy competition devoid of inflicting injuries on their opponents. “Play the ball, not the leg. Sports is all about fun” – said Ezeh.

The kick-off featured
Platoon 4 and 9 in the Football category. After an intense game, Platoon 9 in blue Jersey defeated their opponent with a two goal win.

The Female players in the Volleyball match featuring Platoon 1 and 8 had Platoon 1 taking the lead with a 2-0 win.
