Just in: NYSC Oyo Officials arrive orientation camp

As the 2024 Batch’B’ Stream 2 Orientation Course for Corps commences nationwide, the State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps Oyo State, Comrade Odoba Abel Oche has urged Camp Officials in NYSC Oyo State to develop harmonious working relationship and work together as a team.

The SC made the call during the maiden meeting of Camp Officials held for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 Orientation exercise at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Iseyin. He emphasized on team work as the bedrock of a successful orientation course and therefore urged them to work hand in glove with high level of maturity, tolerance and commitment.

He commended the camp officials for the good work they have been doing which he described as great service to the nation while urging them not to relent but sustain the tempo of performance exhibited in previous orientation exercises which has positioned Oyo NYSC as Pacesetter.

The Coordinator equally urged all camp officials to develop mental alertness and emotional intelligence to accommodate and manage the young graduates coming from different background with different characters and see them as their children. He said they must relate with them in love, correct and discipline them when necessary.

Odoba enjoined camp officials to maintain integrity and discipline and represent their organizations well as they carry out their activities during the Orientation Camp. He warned them to avoid oversocialisation with Corps members and shun extortion.

The Camp Director, Mrs. Omaji Magreth solicited for maximum cooperation from all camp officials so as to ensure an hitch free orientation exercise.
