Dr. Michael Oyerinde, Special Adviser to the Governor on Primary Health Care, has, in a bid to improve the living conditions for Corps Members during their Orientation exercise, embarked on a renovation work at the Block C (Wing A) female hostel at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede.
The ongoing renovation includes replacing damaged louvers, repairing torn nets on windows, and fixing window sheds to prevent water from entering the rooms.
Speaking about the project, Dr. Oyerinde emphasized the importance of providing quality infrastructure for youth development. He praised the NYSC for its role in nation-building and promised continued support.
The State Coordinator, Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim, expressed gratitude to Dr. Oyerinde for the renovation. He noted that the project would enhance the camping experience for Corps Members and improve the overall efficiency of the Orientation exercise.
While the renovation is still ongoing, Corps Members and camp officials are eagerly looking forward to benefiting from the improved facilities.
