The Inter platoon sporting activities have officially kicked off at the Agwu camp today. The state coordinator, Mrs Christiana Salmwang, along with key camp officials were on hand to witness the epic kick off of the games. The State Coordinator had a pep talk with the players as she encouraged them to be fair and exhibit the spirit of sportsmanship in their games and avoid unnecessary injuries. She exchanged pleasantries and had group photographs with the teams prior to commencement.
Kickstarting the sporting activities, platoon 9 and 7 clashed in a thrilling volleyball match, while platoons 3 and 5 battled it out on the field for the football event with the teams bursting with enthusiasm and determination. The intense competition was palpable as each team fiercely vied for victory, their spirits unbridled.
After a prolonged and grueling battle, Platoon 9 emerged triumphant in volleyball , securing a decisive win with a seven -point lead over Platoon 7. And for football, the match ended in a stalemate.
