The NYSC Ogun State Orientation Camp recently hosted the “Big, Bold, and Beautiful” pageantry, a confidence-boosting event exclusively for plus-size female Corps Members of the 2024 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course. Sponsored by FCMB, the event took place at the camp’s Multipurpose Hall and aimed to provide a platform for participants to showcase their beauty, confidence, and poise.
The pageant featured three rounds, with participants showcasing their style and grace in Physical Training attire, traditional wear, and full NYSC ceremonial dress. A panel of judges assessed the contestants based on their costumes, catwalk, confidence, composure, and crowd reaction.
Adebowale Ibidemi (OG/24B/4252) of Platoon 2 emerged as the winner, receiving a 32-inch plasma TV, while Chioma Cynthia Ummwa (LA/24B/8425) of Platoon 8 and Ekpo Glory (LA/24B/10050) secured second and third places, respectively, winning a standing fan and an electric cooker. Other contestants received consolation prizes.
