118 corps members trained as SDGs facilitators in Ogun

 

A total of 118 Corps Members have been trained as Development Knowledge Facilitators (DKFs) at the ongoing 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream Two Orientation Programme, held at the NYSC Sagamu Orientation Camp. These volunteers are set to make meaningful contributions to their host communities by implementing impactful projects.

The Ogun State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu, who was represented by the Camp Director, Mrs. Oluwayemisi Otaru, commended the Corps Members for their dedication to volunteerism throughout the training. She emphasized the importance of focusing on projects that address the genuine needs of their host communities and beneficiaries.

Mrs. Nasamu expressed her satisfaction with the positive feedback from the training facilitator regarding the participants’ enthusiasm and commitment.

The SDGs facilitator, Mrs. Eunice Fakeye, who led the training, encouraged the corps members to actively seek opportunities to make a difference in their communities. She urged them to remain committed to being agents of change, ensuring the success of their initiatives.

While presenting the newly trained facilitators to the State Coordinator, Mrs. Fakeye noted that 162 Corps Members initially volunteered, but only 118 successfully completed the training as Development Knowledge Facilitators.
