embrace financial literacy, maturity, director tells corps members

 

Mr. Kehinde Aremu Cole, Director of the North West Area Office 1 in Kaduna, addressed the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members at the Yikpata camp in Edu Local Government, Kwara State, during their orientation course.

He emphasized the importance of financial literacy, urging Corps Members to abandon childish financial habits and adopt responsible money management practices. Mr. Aremu advised them to avoid frivolous expenses and focus on legitimate ways to increase their income.

The Director also encouraged Corps members to continue developing their skills beyond the camp training, emphasizing the value of entrepreneurship and self-improvement.

Additionally, he cautioned Corps members against embarking on night journeys throughout their service year and beyond, prioritizing their safety and well-being.

Finally, Mr. Aremu conveyed the Director General’s goodwill message to the Corps Members, wishing them a successful and enriching service year.
