NIS sensitizes NYSC corps members on dangers of migrant smuggling

 

At the NYSC Kwara State Permanent Orientation Camp in Yikpata, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) delivered a lecture on the illegal smuggling of migrants within and outside Nigeria. The officer emphasized the importance of youth involvement in combating this menace and enlightened 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members on the NIS’s role in the country.

 

The comprehensive lecture highlighted the benefits of acquiring necessary travel documents, including international passports. Corps Members appreciated the NYSC management for inviting NIS to the camp, which helped change their perception of the organization.

 

The guest lecturer engaged with Corps Members, answering questions and providing insightful responses to all queries. The session was highly interactive and informative, empowering Corps Members to support the fight against migrant smuggling.
