Be polite to your host communities – SC urges corps members

 

The state coordinator NYSC Benue ,Mrs Garba Veronica has urged the 2024 Batch B Stream two Corps Members undergoing orientation at NYSC permanent Camp, Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area to be polite to all Members of their host communities, Local Government Inspectors and other Stakeholders.

The coordinator gave the charge today while debriefing them at the Multipurpose Hall ahead of their exit on Tuesday,the 17th of September.

In her brief, the Coordinator, advised the Corps Members to take the SAED program seriously as jobs are not readily available.

She noted that no man or woman is interested and would be happy to inherit a liability, “everyone likes to be identified with success and not failure”.

The Coordinator, equally cautioned the Youth Corps Members against the negative use of the social media, “anyone who flaunts this law will be punished”.

She further implored them to be security conscious,” on no occasion should you move alone … always move in a group “; she also reminding them to avoid wrong company and bad influence by Peer pressures to commit crime, adding that they should avoid elicit and hard drugs or substances.

Mrs Garba, while wishing them a memorable service year; profoundly appreciated all the camp Officials for their hard work and dedication to the Service Corps which has culminated into a very successful orientation exercise.
