The State Coordinator NYSC Plateau, Mr Jonathan I. Yavala has charged Corps Members of the 2024 Batch “B” Stream II to shun corruption in their dealings and uphold the virtues of integrity and humility as taught to them in camp.
He gave this advice during the Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Batch “B” Stream II Orientation Exercise at the Parade Ground of NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, WAYE Foundation, Doi-Du, Jos South LGA of Plateau State.
He also called on them to demonstrate the virtue of respect, devotion to duty and commitment. Noting that it is his hope that they will strive at all times to live up to the ideals of the NYSC Scheme during the service year.
The State Coordinator further admonished them to inculcate the spirit of discipline so as to achieve laudable success just as their predecessors, which will lead to the development of Plateau State and the Nation at large.
Mr Yavala added that NYSC Management and government of Plateau State has put machinery in place to ensure their safety and assured that their well being is being accorded top priority.
He said, “I urge you to join hands with your colleagues who are already ambassadors of the Scheme on the Plateau to further consolidate on the desired peace”.
Highlights of the occasion is the parade in slow and quick time and the rendition of the three hearty cheers to the Special Guest of Honour.
