The State Coordinator Mrs Garba Veronica, today officially unveiled CDS Website (cdsbenue.ng) which contains the CDS Handbook ( ABC of CDS) as well as other important CDS and NYSC information.
The website which was designed and developed by Digital Onboarders CDS Group, is first of its kind and seeks to make the CDS handbook more accessible and user friendly to Corps members, NYSC Staff and other stakeholders .
While launching the website, at NYSC Secretariat Makurdi, the State Coordinator appreciated and commended the Corps Members for the laudable initiative and service.
She further encouraged them to do even more in area of community service which is one of the cardinal programs of the scheme.
“The CDS information and Nuggets on the developed website, I believe it will make more Corps Members to be involved in carrying out more CDS projects in the State”.
The Coordinator, equally reminded them to embark on meaningful CDS projects in order to transform and leave indelible legacies in their host communities
Speaking earlier, the Assistant Director in charge of CDS Branch, Ms Beulah Stella Gokum, in her remarks expressed delights over the project as it will complement the daily CDS nuggets on camp.
The Schedule Officer of Digital On boarders CDS, Mr Malu Raphael had earlier informed the State Coordinator that the website was developed and designed by the Corps Members using their expertise.
High points of the event was symbolic launch of the designed website by the State Coordinator, Mrs Veronica Garba.
