Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose, has announced that nationwide #EndBadCitizens protests will commence on September 4, 2024.
Fayose shared this information on Sunday through a poster on his official social media account, urging Nigerians to mark the date.
In a separate video, Fayose described “bad citizens” as individuals who obstruct roads, accept bribes, and deal in counterfeit products, among other offenses.
The announcement has sparked varied responses on social media, with many expressing their readiness to join the protest.
It is worth noting that the country has been engaged in EndBadGovernance protests since September 1, with citizens taking to the streets in several locations to protest against widespread hunger.
On Sunday, the President called on Nigerians to halt the nationwide demonstrations, urging protesters to consider the impact on national peace and unity.
