Corps members are in a jubilant mood as the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) begins payment of the delayed September allowance.
Recall that President Tinubu had earlier approved N77,000 for corps members. However, as of the time of filing this report, 2023 Batch C Stream 1 and 2 corps members who received their allowance confirmed they got N33,000.
All efforts to obtain the NYSC management’s reaction to this development were unsuccessful as of press time.
