breaking: NYSC Osun opens orientation camp

Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim, the NYSC Osun State Coordinator, has urged camp officials to embrace hard work and discipline as the 2024 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course commences.

Mr Ndoma made the statement during the maiden meeting with Camp Officials at the Multi-purpose Hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede on Tuesday. He further emphasized the essence of the Orientation Course, stressing that it is a period of intense training and preparation for Corps Members. He charged officials to lead by example, exhibiting professionalism and dedication in their duties.

The Camp Director, Mr. Lawal Taofeek, in his remarks, echoed the State Coordinator’s intentions, highlighting the theme of the Orientation Course and encouraging officials to collaborate and work together to achieve success.

Speaking at the meeting, the Camp Commandant, Captain Doma, stressed the importance of timing and punctuality, reminding officials to ensure Corps Members are at the right place at the right time.

Meanwhile, the Resident Officer, Mr. Olatunji Olajide, in his own remarks welcomed everyone stressing the uniqueness of each Orientation Course as he wished them a successful Camping.

In his closing remarks, the State Coordinator urged security agencies to commence work immediately and pledged to create an enabling environment for them to perform their duties. He also emphasized the importance of security and hygiene, urging officials to prioritize these aspects.

The Orientation Course is slated to commence today as the State is expecting 1900 Corps Members deployed to the State and about 600 dislodged from Lagos State for the Orientation Program.
