Corps Member gives birth at Adamawa orientation camp

The NYSC Adamawa State Coordinator Mr. Samson Ateli was today overwhelmed with joy on the arrival of a bouncing baby boy by a Corps member Mercy Ahure, AD/24B/2027, Mrs. Mercy, who is from Kogi State, arrived Camp at about 1:00am. on Friday, 3oth August 2024, and was spotted heavily pregnant by the gender desk officer Mrs. Fauziya, who immediately took her through the registration process and thereafter to the Camp Clinic, on a quick examination conducted on her by the medical consultants, it was discovered that the baby would soon be delivered, reacting to the alarm swiftly, the State Coordinator directed for her immediate transfer to the Moddibo Adama teaching hospital for proper attention to avoid any complications while on Camp Clinic, and to the glory of God Mercy delivers safely of a bouncing baby boy in the evening exactly 5:44pm, on receiving the good news Mr.Samson’s joy knows no bounds he had to visit the hospital immediately to see the Corps member and her baby on the hospital bed, on arrival he met the mother and baby kicking hale and hearty, while congratulating the Corps member for safe delivery Mr. Samson with joy and smiles on his face said this baby should be named after the Executive governor of the State ” Fintiri”, with smiles on her face Mercy, tendered her unalloyed gratitude to God and the NYSC management for taking such a good care of her to deliver her baby safely.
