Corps members visits little angels Fatima catholic home in Osun

 

As part of the NYSC community development initiative, the FOIA CDS group Osogbo LGA paid a visit to the Little Angels of Fatima Catholic Home in Osun State. Led by the CDS President, Corps Member Samson Ezekiel, the team was warmly received by Reverend Sister Mary Elizabeth.

Reverend Sister Mary Elizabeth shared that the home currently cares for children aged two and above, providing a nurturing environment despite some having families. She also briefed Corps Members that the children are well grounded academically as some are in nursery and primary schools while others are in tertiary Institution including private and public universities. She continuously expressed gratitude for Corps Members’ visit.

During the visit, the team led a time of worship, prayer, and encouragement. A Corps Member of the FOIA CDS group, Mr. Tejumola Jesuferanmi shared his personal experience of growing up without biological parents and how faith sustained him.

An interactive session followed, where the children shared their aspirations, ranging from doctors to governors.

On behalf of Corps Members, the President, Samson Ezekiel signed the visitors’ register and presented donations including: Noodles, biscuits, fruit juice, diapers, soaps, detergent and toiletries.
The visit concluded with a photo session, joyful singing, and dancing.
