Corps members warned against investment scams

Mr. Gbenga Omosebi, Financial Planning Manager of Norrenberger Asset Management, recently addressed NYSC corps members on the dangers of investment scams, particularly Ponzi schemes. He warned that these fraudulent operations promise unrealistically high returns on investment but are designed to dupe people of their money. In contrast, Omosebi introduced Norrenberger’s legitimate investment program, “Corper Invest,” which offers a 16% interest rate on savings.

The Corper Invest scheme encourages corps members to start planning for their future early by investing in low-risk asset classes. Omosebi explained that the program aims to foster an investment habit, nurture an entrepreneurial mindset, and help corps members raise funds for future business ventures. He emphasized that Corper Invest seeks to empower youth by exposing them to the viability of starting small businesses as a means to combat unemployment and monetize their skills and talents.

Omosebi clarified that the funds invested by corps members are used by Norrenberger to invest in government treasury bills, ensuring safety and stability. He highlighted the flexibility of the program, noting that participants can make withdrawals if needed or choose to let their investment grow over time. This approach offers corps members a secure way to save and potentially build substantial wealth for their future.
