Gov Kefea reaffirms commitment to promote Corps Members welfare, security

 

The Governor of Taraba State, Dr, Agbu Kefas has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to the promotion of the welfare and security of the Corps Members deployed to the State for National Service.

He stated this in an address delivered by his Deputy, Alhaji Aminu Abdulahi Alkali at the official closing of the 2024 Batch B Stream II orientation course at the Permanent Orientation Camp Sibre.

Speaking further, he directed the corps employers in the state to join him and ensure that Corps Members posted to their establishment are accepted and if possible retained after the service year.

He charged them to reciprocate the government’s gesture by remaining law-abiding, disciplined, responsible, and impact-driven when they get to their host communities in a bid to drive growth and development in the state.

Gov. Kefas implored the members to put their minds on things that will unite, integrate, and promote the corporate existence of the country, counseling them and tasking them to always have it at the back of their mind to keep the nation one, united as well as prosperous is a task that. Must met and sustained by all and sundry.

Earlier, the State Coordinator thanked all stakeholders for keeping faith in the NYSC scheme.; the corps members for taking their training with rapt attention, and the personnel of the collaborating agencies for living up to expectations.
