The Head, Registration and Documentation committee for the 2024 batch B stream 2 orientation course, Mr. Jinadu Sefiu has described desperate moves by Corps members to lobby for posting unnecessary as all Corps members will be posted to the right Places of Primary Assignment according to their discipline.
While delivering the Deployment and Relocation lecture, he emphasized that Corps members will be posted to all sectors of the economy where their services are needed ranging from Education, Health, Rural Infrastructure, Agricultural sector amongst others.
Jinadu urged Corps members to be of good conduct, stressing that only those that thoroughly observe and complete the four cardinal programmes of service would receive certificate of national service. He therefore encouraged Corps members to approach their service year with diligence and dedication, cautioning against any act of indiscipline as NYSC does not condone such.
He explained the modalities for relocation where he mentioned that, relocation can be done on Health, insecurity and marital grounds. he advised those interested in relocation to apply through their dashboard and ensure they fill their details correctly. He unequivocally stated that Corps members will not be granted relocation to their State of origin.
