The State Coordinator, Mrs Okpalifo Obiageli Charity today, during the 2024 Batch B, Stream 2 SAED competition/ exhibition passed a vote of confidence on the items produced and exhibited by the corps members.
She equally commended the facilitators for the high quality of training.
She said the high quality of products produced by corps members that were on exhibition clearly showed how well the trainers imparted into them and also how well the corps members participated in the hands on skills training.
She emphasized that corps members who have actively participated in the SAED programme in the past, are now employers of labour who are providing beneficial services to the society.
She urged them to show the same passion to the post – camp training to become entrepreneurs in the various skill sects.
She also thanked all camp officials especially the military instructors for their support during the training sessions by ensuring corps members stayed in their respective classes.
In his remarks, the Executive Assistant to the Governor on NYSC Matters, Dr Wisdom Poyeri thanked the NYSC management for using the SAED programme to impact skills in to graduate youths that will step such skills down in their various host communities.
Highlight of the event was the exhibition of products produced by the corps members during the in – camp hands on skill training.
