The Department of State Security Services (DSS), Benue State Command, Mr Jonathan Kure has given the assurance that the Service would continue to support the NYSC in the State in order to achieve its objectives as enshrined in the Constitution.
The Director, Stated this recently, when the newly posted State Coordinator , NYSC, Mrs Veronica Garba and her management team visited the State Directorate Office in Makurdi.
According to him “ Our support and cooperation with NYSC is already enshrined; NYSC is our baby, Nigeria’s baby “.
He reiterated that the Service under his watch in Benue State will not relent in its efforts to providing the needed security services to the scheme in the State.
While Congratulating the NYSC Coordinator, on her well deserved appointment, he equally wished her the best in her sojourn in Benue State.
Speaking earlier, the State Coordinator, Mrs Veronica Garba appreciated the State Director, DSS for his reception to the NYSC despite the short notice.
She assured him of continued collaboration .
“The essence of this visit is to reach out to our critical stakeholders, of which DSS is one of them in Benue State”, she emphasized.
