NYSC Kwara State Hosts Successful Job Awareness Creation Sensitization Program

 

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Kwara State Secretariat, successfully hosted the Job Awareness Creation (JAC) Sensitization Program for 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 Corps Members. The event held at the Ministry of Education and Human Capital in Ilorin.

Mr. Okochi Okpara, Assistant Director, SAED NYSC Kwara State, delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the program’s importance in empowering passing-out Corps Members. He urged attendees to leverage the opportunity to acquire essential skills and knowledge for entrepreneurship, job creation, and career advancement.

Engr. Orunnile Kolade, Head of Operation at International Institute of Project and Safety Management (IIPSM) Nigeria, delivered a keynote lecture. He encouraged Corps Members to be job creators, believe in themselves, respect time management and to package a well inspired CV.

Mr. Kunle Amoo from SAED branch, NYSC Kwara State, presented on the NYSC CV bank, guiding Corps Members on job interview preparation and CV uploads through video clips. He shared the website: www.nyscjob.ng.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Okpara and the NYSC Anthem. Corps Members expressed gratitude to NYSC management for organizing the inspiring program.
