At the Magaji Dan Yamusa NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Keffi, Nasarawa State, the 2024 Batch B Stream II Inter-Platoon Games and Sports Competitions have officially begun. Mrs. Ndem Margaret, representing NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator Mrs. Salamatu Abdurrahman Muhammad, inaugurated the event with an opening address.
Mrs. Margaret highlighted the significance of unity and teamwork among corps members, underscoring the competition’s role in fostering camaraderie. She encouraged participants to prioritize friendly play and safety to ensure a successful and enjoyable event. Following her remarks, she formally declared the competition open.
The inaugural matches featured a thrilling football encounter where 2 Platoon clinched victory over 10 Platoon in a penalty shootout. In Volleyball, 5 Platoon emerged triumphant against 2 Platoon, promising an exciting competition ahead.
