HOW TO CORRECT DATE OF BIRTH
According to NYSC, henceforth, information from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) is now being used to effect changes on the NYSC Portal, even if you didn’t used the WAEC result, once you’ve sat for it before, the new procedure is as follows:
>Get WAEC Verification Pin from any First Bank Branch
>Login to your NYSC Dashboard and click on the link to Date of Birth
>Enter WAEC Verification PIN, select WAEC Type, Year of Exam and enter your Examination Number
>Click on Verify button
>Click SUBMIT or CANCEL
PRINT: Make sure your DOB in WAEC is Correct.
Note: If you’re more than 30yrs in WAEC & JAMB, It will not work for you and it’s not used to reduce age.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE/FITNESS FOR CAMP REGISTRATION
No Registration for you in Camp without Your Medical Certificate of Fitness.

HOW TO CORRECT WRONG COURSE OF STUDY
The following Procedures are to be followed:
1. Login to your NYSC Dashboard and click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
2. Select Course of Study; and
3. Click SEND REQUEST
NOTE: This Approval is strictly done by your Institution’s Student Affairs Officer (SAO).
HOW TO CORRECT NAMES
The following procedures are to be followed:
1.Login into your NYSC Dashboard using your Username and Password
2.Click on Apply for Name Correction: Fill the required fields
3.Click on Place Request to submit and wait for approval
However, Those who need Addition or Removal of names will have to go back to their institutions of Graduation, who will in Turn Formally Communicate such request to the NYSC.
Addition or Removal of names will not be attended to, until your Institution follow the lay down procedure.
This is necessary to ensure that your Certificate of National Service do not bear a wrongly spelt name.
If you refuse to correct this and go to Camp, you’ll be sent Back Home without been attended to.
DIRECT POSTING
Direct Posting is on going now for 2024 BATCHES that are yet to registered successfully and have not been given Call-Up Number (Green Card). You’ll be Posted Straight to your State of choice, your Details will enter your Preferred State MANUALLY even if you don’t select the State during Registration, it’s Directly From your House to your Preferred State

HOW TO CORRECT WRONG CLASS OF STUDY DEGREE
The following procedures are to be followed:
1.Login to your NYSC Dashboard and click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
2.Select Class of Degree; and
3.Click SEND REQUEST
NOTE: This approval is strictly done by your Institution’s Student Affairs Officer (SAO).
HOW TO CORRECT WRONG QUALIFICATION
The following procedures are to be followed:
1.Login to your NYSC Dashboard and click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
2.Select Qualification; and
3.Click SEND REQUEST

HOW TO CORRECT SEX OR STATE OF ORIGIN
According to NYSC, you can lodge a complaint or apply for correction at the ICT unit when you get to the NYSC orientation camp.
