NYSC UPDATE FOR PREGNANT PCMs

Are you a pregnant Prospective Corps Member (PCM)? Here are some important things you need to know before proceeding to camp for registration.

🔹 1. UNMARRIED PREGNANT PCMs

If you are pregnant and unmarried, you are expected to report to the state indicated on your NYSC dashboard.

However, you should not plan to stay in camp throughout the orientation programme. After completing the necessary registration procedures, you may be released to return home due to your condition.

🔹 2. MARRIED PREGNANT PCMs

If you are married and pregnant, you should follow the applicable NYSC guidelines for married PCMs and report to the appropriate state based on your husband's state of residence, where required.

Please note that you may not be permitted to remain in camp throughout the orientation programme. You may be released to return home after completing the necessary registration procedures.

🔹 3. IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR ALL PREGNANT PCMs

Some PCMs may have completed their NYSC registration before discovering that they were pregnant. Consequently, their pregnancy may not have been indicated during registration.

If this applies to you, inform the NYSC officials immediately upon arriving at the camp registration venue. This will allow the officials to advise you on the appropriate procedure and help you avoid unnecessary stress from standing in long queues.

📌 DOCUMENTS TO TAKE ALONG

Ensure you go with valid medical documentation confirming your pregnancy. This may help the officials verify your condition and process your case appropriately.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: Procedures and requirements may vary. Please confirm the latest instructions with the relevant NYSC officials before making travel arrangements.

Your health and safety come first. Prepare adequately and follow the instructions given by the appropriate authorities.
